Happy Birthday Dad!!

Had a very quiet week, compared to the last few anyway- watched loads of films and reading the various rotten books which have been left in the hostel by other travellers. Really, I have no interest in reading some over privileged Englishman’s memoire about life in Rhodesia, but there’s only so many times you can read Voici magazine and its love affair with les Beckhams.

Been working with Nicolas, a different doc, the last couple of weeks and it’s been good; he’s excellent at explaining things and asking me questions and I’ve been more involved, even asking me what I think about patients’ progress makes me feel like I’m getting somewhere.

Not sure what’s going on this weekend, it’s raining and forecast for more. Heard about an awesome cakeshop so might check that out.

this was sent by email from Ann Marie Docherty - I did not correct the grammar the apostrophes were just fine and I only squished it down a bit

your Dad just sent me your blog (first time i have looked at anyone's log ) and you write very well. Sounds like you are having many experiences, including the medical

JD and me had a good time at the Olympic/Birthday party last night.

it was good catching up with the usual suspects, especially Billy Dewar, but the best part was the Punch And Judy show haven’t seen one of those for many a long day.
